As the Chief Scientist of GloboPorto, Corey specializes in molecular design, modelling, and bio-molecular interactions. His academic background includes a master’s in Biotechnology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. With experience in plant biotechnology from in R&D role at Mycosphere, he is now focused on leveraging innovative molecular strategies to drive forward groundbreaking biotechnological solutions. His goal is to develop sustainable, cutting-edge advancements that contribute to better healthcare, environmental sustainability, and more efficient biotechnological applications worldwide.
Arthur is a seasoned lawyer with over 20 years of legal and industry operations experience with a focus on technology, medical device, and manufacturing. An engineer by training, Arthur has a depth of knowledge in the areas of medical devices, the protection and commercialization of intellectual property, and manufacturing. He served as General Counsel at OrbusNeich Medical Device, the Global Legal Director at Byton EV, advised The Hong Kong Exchange, Sands Group, The Hong Kong Shanghai Hotel Group, Accenture, and Hasbro on legal corporate commercial matters. For over a decade prior in Silicon Valley, Arthur provided legal and IP counsel to many medical and technology companies including Thoratec Guidant, Google, Intel, and Apple. Arthur holds Engineering degrees from Duke University and Case Western Reserve University, and a Law Degree from Santa Clara University. He was admitted to the State Bar of California and registered to practise with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
